I have a love hate relationship with sewing.... mostly hate.
I just don't think I have the patience for it. I mean if I actually sit there and draw up a pattern and measure and be all exact then it's easy peasy but I HATE doing that. I just love the end product the the feeling of accomplishment. All i want is to design cute stuff and have someone make it for me who actually enjoys the pin sticking, seam ripping, sewing machine jamming, bobbin ending, process of sewing. This person is NOT me.
I know what you are thinking, yes I went to school for fashion design but that doesn't mean that I actually like making the products. Give me a pen and a piece of paper and I'll whip you up a whole line of clothes but sit me in front of a sewing machine and watch me sit there for hours trying to find motivation to turn my mind images into real life tangible products. Sigh.
This all just came about because after 3 days of on and off attempts to make a romper I just threw in the towel.
Wanted, someone with great technical sewing abilities who actually enjoys it but is missing that creative aspect. Hi I'm Ashley and I am the missing piece to your puzzle.

haha we should get together and hate sewing together!
when my brother had his son, my sister and I decided we were going to make a blanket together for him. Yeah... I bought the materials and she made it. I def don't have the patience to do all that unless it's a quick "sew this patch on" "hem these pants" kinda thing.
I totally know what you mean. :)
i love to sew, im just really not that good at it so i tend to get upset VERY easily lmao.
