0 Dance Dance//And these are the lives you'd love to lead
It finally came! Peyton's first dance class was this morning and it was great! It went pretty much exactly how I thought it would go. While everyone was standing P was sitting. When every one was sitting P was standing. When the other little girls were standing in a nice little line, P was running around the room and hanging on the ballet bars. That's muh girl.
She eventually started listening and doing toe taps and stood on the yellow line, but it was on her terms. She's great. The class is for 2-3 year olds and it was a little more structured than I expected which is hard for kids her age. I think there should have been a little more free dance but what are you gonna do? It's only a half hour class and she had a blast either way so Id say it was a success. And the best part? Her class is at the community center and they hold the farmers market there every week so after class we walked around and indulged in fresh foods.
We had freshly baked ham and swiss crepes, P got an apple, we had a chocolate chip pastry, and we bought home tomatoes, pumpkin bread and peach cobbler. Yumm-o I'm so exited for all the Saturdays to come. Dance class and farmers markets? Yes please.
How is your saturday going?
