5 My ModCloth Review

COMMENTS

I got my new dress from ModCloth today and I LOVE it!!!!

Quick Review

What I Adore:

The Pattern

The Femininity

The fact that I got an e-mail yesterday saying it was shipped out and then it was waiting on my door step to greet me today! (standard shipping people!)

The back = selling point. I'm a sucker for intricate backs

Free headband?! Yes please!

The faux bow top presh

The fact this it goes fabulously with these Steve Madden shoes!

Things I could do with out:

I got it in a medium and it fits great around my waits but my gigantic boobs have an issue. It poofs out on the side. I don't know if it's because of my boobs or what but I'm just gonna take it to a taylor and get it fixed. I could try going a size up but I'm planning on losing more weight so id rather just taylor it.

also there is a broken stitch in the under boob seam which bums me out but I will just get that fixed when I get it taken in.

I'm seriously so happy with my dress and the service and I can't wait to order more dresses for summer!

Did I mention I love your votes?

Today is Friday and it's extra extra special because....

Mikey has always worked in the restaurant industry ever since we have known each other so weekends for us were his busy times and I hardly ever saw him. Now that he is at his new job he has real weekends and I am SO excited!!!!!! It is supposed to be in the 70's all weekend. I'm hoping to go have a picnic downtown and ride the carousel. It's what we used to do all the time when I was a kid and I can't wait to start doing it with P. Maybe we can visit some monuments and museums too. The nice thing about going downtown is its a cheap and quick metro ride and then everything else is pretty much free.

Ok back to the point of this thread Flashback Friday

This friday I'm not flashing back to a specific period of time but instead to two very important people who have been there for me through the majority of my life and I know they will be there for me whenever need them. (yes even you Marshall)

May I present my two besties Katie and Marshall:

Till next time

1 Philly Recap

Philly was so much fun and a much needed mini vaca.

We drove up Tuesday around 12 and go there around 230. No traffic and a nice drive!

We drove into the city and parked on Broad st. then walked a few blocks to South st.

Philly was filled with beautiful street art! That's the thing I love most about the city is all the beautiful and creative art you find in the most unexpected places.

We stopped into Tattooed Moms which is this fabulous little bar and had a few drinks and some $ tacos yummmy

I would have loved to stay on South st. longer and shopped at all the cute boutiques but our meter only had 2 hours on it :-/

So we went back to the car and headed off to the stadium.

We got some beer and soft pretzels and headed to our seats.

The game was so much fun and even though we lost in a shoot out we def. got our monies worth!

After the game we met up with our friend Jimmy and went back to his apartment to stay the night! We are so lucky we didn't have to pay for a hotel and that Jimmy let us stay with him THANK YOU!!!!!

The next morning we were just going to go back home but after I let Mikey know that Iv been to Philly 3 times and never had a cheese steak he said we HAD to go back.

On our way up we got pulled over and got a warning for having a frame around our plate. Really!? Apparently it's illegal in PA but news flash Im from VA.... I guess i have to take it off every time I cross into the P boarder... DUMB

Anyways... So we got to Philly and decided to do the cheese steak challenge
If you have ever seen the food network there are two rival cheese steak shops across the corner from one another Geno's and Pats. We went to Geno's first and split a plain cheese steak and fries. Then we went over to Pats and Mikey got another plain one but I wanted mushroom, peppers, and onions on mine.

After throughly reviewing the two shops we decided we liked Pat's better. Not only were there more options, the subs were bigger, and their service was 129038120938 times better. The people at Geno's were SO rude!

Then after our low cal breakfast we made our way back home to see our baby who we missed so much! 24 hours is a long time to be away from your itty bitty!

We had family snuggle time

It was so much fun and I can't wait to go back and shop around more and do some sight seeing I love Philly!

I made a video of our trip ill try to get it together and put it up later it will take me a while!

Todays Flashback Friday is all about cheer!

Cheerleading was my life for the 4 years I was in highschool. We practiced 4 hours a day 5 days a week 6 hours on Saturdays. We spent days off doing bonding activities and fundraisers. They were my family

Im soooooo excited to say today me and two of my good friends and fellow cheerleaders went to talk to our athletic director about coaching and we are totally in!!!

The program has gone downhill since we left but we are determined to build it back up again and have the school take i seriously.

YAY for cheer and yay for coaching I cant wait to get started!

I still have so much to post about from this week hopefully I will get a chance tonight.

Happy Friday!
