9 Custom Portraits

Iv always really liked drawing. It's a creative outlet, I have total control over it unlike sewing or other crafts, and it's fun. I have been working on making Mikey and my wedding invite and it got me thinking maybe I could dabble into doing some custom portraits for some extra money. I tried my hand at it by making a birthday present for Jess of her little adorable family, then offered to make one for Deanna and her family to build my portfolio. Deanna has been there for my blog since the beginning and I wanted it to be a thank you for all her support. I think Im going to do a few more to build a portfolio and then start doing them for income. What do you all think? Be honest! 

0 Sneak Peek

I just finished a new dress today! It's an apron dress. I'm not going to put it on Etsy till tomorrow because I need a better picture of the back but I thought I would put it up here to give you all a sneak peek! (I also experimented with my new app)









Yay. I'm really happy with how it turned out and Im ready to make more!

In wedding news~

Mikey and I have an appointment next Wednesday with The Comus Inn which is our top wedding venue and I'm really excited!!!! I hope I like it!

In blogging news~

I have a post I'm really excited to write but it's going to take a while so It will have to wait till baby goes to bed so check back later tonight or tomorrow for it!

This is what I wake up to evvvvery morning. I am NOT a morning person but it's pretty hard to be grumpy when I get to hear this sweet voice calling for me.

She nows says heavy. She was carrying rocks around all day and she kept saying 'momma its a rock... heavy!'

2 Yippy! Hooray!

I went early this morning to pick up my onesies from the post office!
Im really happy with most of the colors but there are a few that are a bit brighter/ more neon that I anticipated (green and orange to be specific)
So I have been waiting for them to get here so I could finish a gift set for a friend and I was able to put it all together today.









This will be going on my etsy shop to replace the other elephant/turtle combo because they were on gerber organic and I'm doing my etsy stuff on Zee Spot because they are a better quality. Any who go check out my shop and favorite if you dare!

2 Welp Thatl Do

So every time i clicked over to my blog I got kinda depressed because the colors were so dark. I decided to lighten the mood up a bit. What do you think? It's still a work in progress like the rest of my life but I think i like it so far.

In other news:

I added two new things to my etsy shop. The head band I made the other day and one I made this morning. They are super easy and fun to do and I got a whole bunch of fabric to make them this week at G Street.
How ever my photog skills are still majorly lacking so the pictures don't do them justice at all the actually look a lot cuter in person. I also need to get a model over here so I can take pictures with them actually on someone. So once again a work in progress.

In Peyton News:

She has hit her terrible twos early and she hit it hard

For the past 3 days she has been throwing the biggest tantrums and it's driving me up the wall! I don't now how much longer I can take it

We went out to lunch today with my bestest friend in the world who hasn't seen P in a while and she was a little brat the whole time. She is usually the BEST restaurant baby and we always get compliments on how well behaved she is... not today

Dont let her fool you she is evil

0 It's About Flippin Time

I JUST got an Email from Zee Spot onesies after e-mailing them daily for a week! They said my order will be processed today and sent out tomorrow. That took long enough! I am really frustrated with the customer service that I got but I am really excited to see the product. If they are as fabulous as I think they are I will try again to order with them next time but if this happens again I will have to find another wholesaler :(

I almost forgot I ORDERED MY ONESIES TODAY yaaaayyy!!! I told you I would do it it just took me a lot longer than expected. Oh well they are ordered and now all I have to do it wait!

1 Teapot dress

So I had one more gerber white organic onesie left over from the ones i ordered for my nephew and I decided to attempt a dress prototype before my colored Zee Spot ones got here. It still needs some work esp. on the sleeves but Im pretty happy with it for the most part. I will probably sell my dresses anywhere from $30-40 on Etsy depending on how much fabric/ time goes into each one.

I also need to work on my photography skills! But here is what it looks like
