1 Flashback Friday

Iv had a really stressful day week and I'm just not in the best of moods today so for my flashback Im going back to high school where my biggest concern was who was going to take me to prom or if my cheer squad would make it to states.

They were some of the best years of my life where I made amazing memories with my best of friends and here are some pictures that make me smile with out fail.

Today is Friday and it's extra extra special because....

Mikey has always worked in the restaurant industry ever since we have known each other so weekends for us were his busy times and I hardly ever saw him. Now that he is at his new job he has real weekends and I am SO excited!!!!!! It is supposed to be in the 70's all weekend. I'm hoping to go have a picnic downtown and ride the carousel. It's what we used to do all the time when I was a kid and I can't wait to start doing it with P. Maybe we can visit some monuments and museums too. The nice thing about going downtown is its a cheap and quick metro ride and then everything else is pretty much free.

Ok back to the point of this thread Flashback Friday

This friday I'm not flashing back to a specific period of time but instead to two very important people who have been there for me through the majority of my life and I know they will be there for me whenever need them. (yes even you Marshall)

Todays flashback goes to the summer I lived in Rehoboth.
It was the summer I met Mikey and probably the best summer of my life (pre mommyhood)

There was not one singe dull day down at the beach and Mikey and I both say that we spent out last summer babyless going out with a BANG!

Todays Flashback Friday is all about cheer!

Cheerleading was my life for the 4 years I was in highschool. We practiced 4 hours a day 5 days a week 6 hours on Saturdays. We spent days off doing bonding activities and fundraisers. They were my family

Im soooooo excited to say today me and two of my good friends and fellow cheerleaders went to talk to our athletic director about coaching and we are totally in!!!

The program has gone downhill since we left but we are determined to build it back up again and have the school take i seriously.

YAY for cheer and yay for coaching I cant wait to get started!

I still have so much to post about from this week hopefully I will get a chance tonight.

I had a blogging fail yesterday I hada super busy day that I will post about later.
Anyway I'm doing my flashback friday today

This picture is from the sand castle competition in Rehoboth last summer. I cant wait for summer to get here!!! We had so much fun! We spent the entire day at the beach with Mikey's whole family and a few friends building this castle it paled in comparison to a lot of the castles but we had a great time!

AHHHH I'm seriously so pumped for summer to get here it's so handy having Ps grandparents live 5 min. from the beach!!! lovveee

PS it has been uber warm here this week and I'm in heaven. Dear weather please stay this way.

The first picture is one of my favorite moments ever. Since Peyton was sent to the NICU after she was born I was the only one who had the short opportunity to hold her. This is her second day of life and the first time Mikey ever had her in his arms. I know it was his best moment and I'm so glad that we have this picture to remember it by

The second picture is the same day and my favorite picture ever. Eskimo kisses? how could your heart not melt at that?

0 Motivation and Flashback Fridays

So Mikey and I have been talking a lot about getting up before P to work ot, take showers, and just relax before the little demon arises. It wasn't until I read Danielle's post over at Sometimes Sweet that i really found the motivation to actually do it. I love love love this post and if you feel like you need some inspiration please go read it. Yesterday and today I have woken up before Peyton, worked out, showered, and this morning I even did some laundry. Hopefully I can keep it up!

In other news:

Im 99.9% sure I got a concussion this morning doing laundry. I hit my head on this giant pipe that sticks out from the wall while bending down to the dryer. There a definite bump there.

I dont know if it is already being done somewhere else int he blogging world but I haven't seen it around so I am taking credit. It is pretty self explanatory but every Friday I am going to pick an old picture to post and talk about. It can be from yesterday, a year ago, or 10 years ago as long as it's a flash back. Flash Back Friday 2.24.2011



I was looking through my baby bump pictures last night (thus the reason this post came to mind in the first place). I was 39 weeks in this picture. I'm pretty sure it was taken on a friday and P was born on Tuesday.
I loved my baby bump (minus the stretchies) I pretty much loved everything about being pregnant. I only got sick 4 times at the very beginning and I had some pretty bad acid reflux at the end but other than that it was really smooth.
