2 Love, True Love

Hi bloggity friends! I hope you all had a great Valentine's yesterday! 

Iv never been one to get overwhelmingly into vday but I am of the double X chromosome variety so if romance comes knocking on my door (in this case quite literally) then I will get the giddys and probably cry a few tears of mushiness. 

Here are a few peeks into our day.

This was the knocking on the door I was talking about. My honey sent me some flowers

my other valentine arranged this for me with help from my mom

Then P and I made some valentines for all our favorite people

We were going to just take Pey to dinner with us but my mom offered to put her to bed so we got a little dressed up and went to my favorite little hole in the wall french restaurant for dinner.

they have hands down the best french onion soup you will ever eat. ever.

also their chocolate mousse is something to write home about. Mikey had a bite and I ate the rest. In fact I cleaned every plate of my 4 course meal. Hey, it was a special occasion. Dont judge.

Th night ended with a little T-Swif on the radio. Pretty perfect in my opinion.

5 Wedding Stuff

This past Saturday Mikey, P and I went to check out our wedding venue because believe it or not Mikey has never seen it. Weird that a man would be so uninterested and impartial to where we would be getting married right? He isn't the wedding planning enthusiast to say the least. But he did want to check it out so we made the little trip (10 min. down the road) to the venue. It was the perfect fall day and the leaves were still {mostly} on the trees so we could get a grasp as to what it may look like on the big day. Peyton adored the place which is always a plus and Mikey really liked it too. Winning. Here are just a few {bazillion} pictures I took!

We haven't done much planning but its less than a year away so I'm trying to find the motivation to start... this helped a lot!

3 Date Night

Last Friday I had a date night with my two number one people 

to. die. for.

1 On Call

Once a month for Mikeys new job he is on call for a week. Tuesday to Tuesday and his week starts today. I didnt really explain it before but he pretty much does stuff on the highway so there is ALWAYS something to do.
Any who he got off at 5 today like usual and at 6:30 got his first on call call to come back in... I can see this week is already getting off on the wrong foot. Not even 2 hours at home before he had to go back out. I guess its good because he gets paid extra but I have a feeling its gonna be a  long and lonely week here

I foresee a lot of blog stalking in my future after P hits the hay

Mikey started his new job today. I can't tell you what it is because it's top secret and they may come for me.
No really though it specifically says in his giant packet that he got today that you are not allowed to blog about it bahaha. It's really not that cool so I don't know why you would want to blog about it anyway.
But I'm really excited for him and us and hopefully we will be able to get the heck out of here soon (sorry mom and dad you know I love you!)

In baby news~

I think Peanut may be getting sick (thanks to Uncle Jeremy) she has a little bitty cough :( poor buggy I hope it doesnt get worse

In wedding news~

I'm excited to say I have my photographer, well sort of. I still need to officially book her but since I dont have an exact date and venue yet I can't book her til I do. BUT we have already been in contact and I will change my wedding date for her if she doesnt have it open
Her name is Katie Stoops and she is AMAZING! She did my sisters wedding and her pictures take my breath away. She captured every moment perfectly and she is so creative, sweet, and has a great sense of humor!

By the way mom momma did all the flowers, the stage, and pretty much everything. She is A-MAZ-ING the most talented florist and interior decorator I know.. seriously. She even had a wedding in 'The Knot' mmhumm yeah she's wonderful.

I actually have a recipe for a great salad but don't feel like typing it out right now so I will do it tomorrow.

In P90X news~

Kris and I went to GNC today to buy our protein bars and powder today yummm! HA! We are officially starting Friday don don don...
